Brembo rotors 900 1994

A couple of questions from a rookie. I’ve got a 94 – 960 and I’m going to attempt to change all 4 rotors/pads for the 1st time. I bought Brembo rotors.

The Volvo manual talks about the rotors having a scribe or marking that gets matched to the hub marking. But when I looked at the new rotors (front and rear), I didn’t see any scribes or markings. Is it supposed to be there and I’m just looking in the wrong place? I did notice a clip on the front rotors that was inside the ventilated portion of the rotor. Is this supposed to replace the scribe marking? If not, can someone please tell me what it’s for?

Thanks in advance,

Rod
