Replacing radio 200 1986

I am the proud driver of a 240 dl that has barely been driven for its age (67000 for an '86), my only complaint about it is that the radio/tape deck sucks. I think the wiring is loose because it cuts in and out when I hit bumps or hit it, but I can't get it out to check the wiring. I have the wiring diagram for the car, so I'm pretty sure I could put them all back if I took it apart, but I can't get the deck out of its slot. I'm not suprised at this, it is probably for security, but I know there must be some way to remove it. I believe it has something to do with a little hole on the front bottom right of the radio? Any help with this would be very appreciated. Thank you.
