Do I need a new mechanic ??

Have used this shop for some some time. Recently developed a problem with the air on my wife's 94 940T (148K).

When the air is first started up on a hot day - after setting for a spell outside - it blows really warm air (almost hot) for about 3 minutes - gradually getting cold enough to cool the interior of the car.

I had freon put in at another shop a few weeks back - but problem seemed to stay the same. I learned from the brickboard that the best way to fix an R134 system was to pull it all the way down and put a certain weight of freon back in.

I take it to my main mechanic - he checks it - says all is well - that he knows about the pull down/ refill fix, but that the pressure is right, this is the way he does it, and it is full. It is 40 degrees (at the vents) with engine running - 50 degrees at idle - and the only cause for any problem is an in-efficient compressor due to mileage. The bill is 32.50.

Any thoughts here. I have mentioned the brickboard before to him, and it is almost like I have offended his expertise.

And I still have a problem with the air on the 940.
