No start condition with warm engine 700 1989

I have a 91 740 that had a similar problem. Started fine every day, but after getting gas, stopping at the post office, other short stops it would turn over but not start. It was intermittent and sometimes took as longs as two hours to start again. The hot start section in the FAQ was a great help, I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and haven't had the problem since. This was after I took it to a dealer shop for a week and they couldn't get it to reproduce. Hope that helps.
