I'm going to be purchasing a '91 740 sedan and.... 700 1991

I was just wondering what are some things i should check on the car before i buy it.

The guy said the interior was flawless, and there is only 1 little ding on the outside and he said it runs well.

He said "the wifey complains about the shifter sticking between park and neutral and drive if i bump a curb too hard".. well you arent sposed to bump a curb.. but im wondering what that could be.

if you guys know of any general mechanical things i should take a look at to make sure this car is decent lemme know.

i own a 244 but the tranny went out and im just not in the mood to put more money in that car.. it's been a trooper. it made it through my first three years of driving. time for a second vehicle.
