Intermittent no start problem 900

Two separate times over the last couple of weeks we've experienced a no start problem with our 1994 945T. I've looked through the archives but didn't see anything that seemed to be a match so I thought I'd ask for some ideas. Here's waht happens:

Both times we'd been highway driving for more than an hour and stopped to have lunch (Wendy's, but I think that's just coincidental). Come back out to the car after about 40 minutes, turn the key and get no crank from the engine, no click from the solenoid, nothing. All the other functions on the car work, horn, lights, radio, everything. All the fuses check out ok. So, back into Wendy's, wait about 20 - 30 minutes and go back out. Car starts right up, no problem.

Next day take the car to the shop, no codes, they checked and cleaned electrical connections, checked pnp switch, issued clean bill of health.

Runs fine from that point, until two weeks later coming back from our vacation, when the exact same thing happens. Both days were very hot and humid.

I'd appreciate any suggestions anybody's got on this one.

Thanks,

Paul
