Water pump? 120-130

Hi Tremmelle,

Interesting dilemma about the water pump. I'm running a -.015" deck (the pistons stand proud) and have had no problem with that. However, I'm using a regular .047" gasket (that's what the .050" Elring crushes to), so the head is only a few thou closer than on an undecked block and the standard B20B .030" gasket. The pump O-rings have no problem accommodating that.

I'd suggest choke sizes depend on how well the motor flows as well as its intended use. 32mm chokes strike me as quite restrictive for a well-modified head on a 2-liter block, and might well limit the top end. Larger chokes don't really hurt the bottom end, they just make the carbs pickier to tune.

My $.02...
