Seat Heaters 200 1990

So I was at a boneyard the other day, midway through removing a nice set of black leather seats I found in a mid-80's 240 seadan (using a wrench from the toolkit from a 740 wagon I found; I love this particular yard), when it occurred to me that these seats weren't heated, and that mine are. I don't want to give up the bun-warmers, but my original vyinal seats are shot. Is it at all feasable to swap out the heating elements?

p.s.: The yard, for anyone who is interested, is in Blackstone, MA, and is called Henry's. They have dozens of 2, 7 and 9 series cars, and even a '68 1800S (pretty well stripped by now).
