I bought a volt guage on ebay....now I need help wiring it up right. 85 240DL wagon 200

I just received my new volt guage that I bought on ebay for $18.00 and I need to know what is the best way to wire it up that will be as close to a factory installation as possible.

I have already done the tach/small clock conversion and the clock is mounted to the right of the instrument panel where the two dummie covers are. It is on the top space and the volt guage will be mounted under it. I also have the radio mounted at the top of the dash.

I really don't want to hack up the wiring and I want it to be as close to factory as possible. I have got the connectors with short pieces of wire attached and I thought about just coming off of the clock for the light power and ground source since it is right there and it is the resisted power source that I need.

Has anyone out there done this before.

Any help would be appreciated.
