starving for fuel or power?? 700 1990

i have a 1990 740 turbo.for no reason it will suddenly stop taking the gas..ie it will act as if it is running out of gas or a fuel filter is clogged...it will continue to run and idle and will only take gas if it you barely touck the gas pedal...if i cut it off and back on most of the time it clears up..or if i let it sit for a while then it will run fine...i have replaced..both fuel pumps, the mass air filter, the plugs wires and dis cap..both relays mounted on the fender the coolant temp switch and the throttle control switch, the fuel pressure valve..help???
