Plastic vs Metal A/C Low Pressure Switch 900

Hello all. My wife's 94 945 has a chronic slow leak at the A/C low pressure switch. (Verified by UV dye.) I have replaced the o-ring quite a few times with slightly thicker ones and it always leaks. The switch has a plastic "sleeve" that the threads are in, and this plastic sleeve is what screws onto the receiver/dryer fitting. There is no damage to the receiver/dryer fitting threads, nor to the threads inside the sleeve. I noticed that my 94 944 has a metal sleeve on the low pressure switch instead of a plastic one, so I was wondering if it is possible that the plastic sleeve on the leaking one is stretched or something (meaning it will never seal.) Has anyone run into this? The switch works perfectly, so I'd hate to replace it if I am not sure that this could be a problem... Thanks!
