Driver's side window regulator 900 1992

Hi all,

Having trouble with the driver's side window. When raising, it seems to go ok, but then proceeds to go 'too far', and the lift gear torques towards the outside of the car, continuing on until it hits a tubular cross-brace. At that point, the part of the window closest to the top/back of the door pulls away. The result being a nice , noisy gap.

There's info on this in the FAQ, but it was referring to a 700. Not sure if it applies 100% to the 900's. Am I looking at needing a new regulator? Or are there some adjustments i'm missing? Already tried monkeying with the two adjusting nuts that I could find, but to no avail. The gear teeth all look ok as far as I can see.

Thanks!
-John
