Towing with an automatic 245... 200

What's the heaviest load anybody out there has personally towed with an automatic 240? When I had my 5 speed 87 245, I regularly dragged a loaded tow dolly around, with good resullts, even considering the horrible AutoZone clutch. In fact, within a 2 week period, I towed a Dodge Neon, a Pontiac Fiero, another Neon, and a Subaru Loyale 4x4 wagon 1000 miles each, including a light pass through the mountains on the interstate. The brick never overheated, and never left me walking. It even kept me between the lines when that idiot kid in the stolen Blazer rammed the dolly (I was going 65 at the time) while he was running from the cops. That 87 was a heck of a car, and had over 250k miles on it when I sold it.

I just bought a one-owner 91 245 with an automatic and 59k miles (I've added a couple grand since then), and although I'm planning on selling it to get the right 5 speed 92 or 93 245, I'm wondering how the automatic bricks are as tow vehicles.
