91 240 Wagon non-power antenna

Hi folks,

The antenna on the left rear of our 91 240 wagon has broken. The mast itself is intact; what happened is that the metal and plastic cartridge assembly the mast screws into has sheared off (underneath the threaded area the mast screws into). The cartridge assembly inserts into the antenna cable inside the wagon. I've drilled and pinned the broken metal pieces back together, but they are not sturdy enough.

Can somebody advise me as to what my options are? The cartridge looks like an odd (and maybe expensive) little piece of work. Is there a place I can go to have this
replaced inexpensively? Is there an aftermarket option that will deal with the broken area (again, the mast and its base are fine)? Thanks for any help.

If you could respond to my home account, I'd appreciate it. it is:
