'71 B20E tuning 140-160

The timing is really pretty solid (well from my perspective). I'll put the spectroscope on the car and every once in a while the car will bounce a little from 10 to 9 or 11 degrees. I should probably revisit the dwell (just used feeler gauges to try and set it) but I should probably pick up a dwell meter and make sure it's working fine. Another thing on the to do list :)

As for the air filter, it seems pretty good although it's from the previous owner and as such warrants some investigation. The exhaust is setup for youthful exuberance in that from the FI header it goes out as a 2.5" straight pipe to the bumper via a minimum of mandral bends -- someone in the past must have thought it was sporting to be able to feel the car drive past. Admittedly, I'm still young and irresponsible enough to liek the noise. :)

All things considered, this is a far rougher car than my 740 but it is _so_ much more fun to work on and drive. Also, the toluene comment was made rather tongue in cheek.
