Fuel Pump Relay Problems? Location? Repair? 200 1987

I've been having a stalling problem with my 1987 240 DL coasting to a stop or just after coasting around for a while, such as backing out of a long driveway slowly or looking for a spot in a parking lot. I looked around on this board and other resources and it seems to be the fuel pump relay.

I'm saying this b/c it stalls when I coast to a stop, or if I've been coasting for a while. However, 99% of the time it will crank back up immediately if I just slip it into neutral and start it. Sometimes it has good days where it runs great, and sometimes very bad where it can stall up to 10 times in a 15 minute trip.

Why I'm posting is b/c I have a few questions. Is this problem most likely the fuel pump relay? Is there anything I can do to make sure it is this problem? Where is the fuel pump relay located in the car? -- b/c some say under the dash on driver's side, some say passenger.

I would appreciate any help with this intermittent problem, since it is getting very annoying and sometimes even dangerous.
