I painted my bumpers 700

If you prep the bumper carefully and use a good quality paint designed for use on bumpers and plastic trim, the stuff should look good, and stay in place without any problems for years. My 87 745 bumpers look great two years after painting them with "Bumper Black" paint. I used Prep-all degreaser before light sanding. Then hit it again w/Prep-all before painting. Just did my 95 944T bumpers last month and they look as good as new. Just my $.02 on the subject.
