1990 740 radio replacement 700 1990

It should be a plug-n-play fit, but double check the shapes of the harness plugs on the back. the round 6-pin is for the amp cable, and the harnesss cable should be 14-pin,basically rectangular with the top row and the bottom row offset. All of the speakers being out sure sounds more like the amp connection, either the din cable or the harness from the amp to the speaker wiring, although both are locked in place and rarely just jiggle loose. Let us know what you find.
By the way, there's a swedish/dutch site you can find with the title "Volvo 200" etc. which has parts number listings and some specs on all the audio wequipment ever used on the 2xx series volvo. I don't have the addess handy, but it's easy to figure out what the data is, even though it's not in English.
