Drivability Problem 700 1986

Hey guys,

Hoping you can help me with a problem I've been having with my '86 745tic (M46). When I hit rough pavement in my car, I get an intermitant power loss for a fraction of a second-it feels like a miss, or like the ignition timing got pulled way back for an instant. The car doesn't seem to want to stall when this occurs, but it has zero power for a fraction of a second after each bump. It has been going on for a long time, but recently it has gotten way worse, so that I don't feel comfortable driving the car any more.

Any ideas what I should look at? Seems like it must be ignition related(?)

Thanks for any help,

Jeremy
