Hard Shift into 2nd 700 1992

One would like to think it is as simple as the kickdown cable. Chances are it is probably your check balls in the vavle body of the tranny. They wear down and cause irregular fluid flow which in turn I guess changes clutch and brake engagement in the tranny. The FAQ has a well documented section that further explains this problem, I have been driving on mine like that forever and it is more of a pain than antything.
