My Nissens 3 row rad decided to urinate Dexcool...

Dexcool is fine execpt in two circumstances:

- soldered brass rads
- where there is air in the system, or low coolant levels (GM usually)


If you use the plastic/aluminum radiators it should be fine. Although, they are expensive. With the all-metal ones, I'd stay away from Dexcool, just because it seems to be a pretty oft-heard complaint.

The scum and caking problems, are mostly relegated to GM models. In fact, almost exclusively.
