Engine Loping?? Help )-: 200 1998

Hi guys, I'm here to ask for advice.

I changed my oil and plugs yesterday and afterwards my poor lil 240's engine started runnin' really rough and then it just wouldn't crank at all. I took it to the Volvo shop. They said they had to turn the distributor a lil to get it runnin'. But they apparently weren't worried about the whole shaking thing. The engine just kinda' shakes really hard. It shakes the whole car so much I am just not lookin' forward to drivin' home today. So id this a timing problem or could the wrong kind of oild make it do this. I've switched out 3 sets of plugs and that didn't change anything.

The plugs I put in are Bosch Platinum and they came pre-gapped. I checked the gaps just to make sure.

The oil I put in it is some kind of castrol synthetic blend. It's not full synthetic tho. And I put an STP oil filter on it.

You guys got any suggestions? I'll send you the $108.00 it cost me for the shop to do almost nothing. Hey they even said they washed it and... well it still says "wash me" on the window.
