Lifter height question 140-160

My dear 145 ate a cam lobe yesterday. Funny, because George has mentioned this to many people in the past and I always thought "I've never had that happen on any of my Volvos." Well it finally did and now I'm charged with repairing it. I was going the stock route and didn't want to drop the money for the ipd lifter set, but need new lifters. Has anyone ever gotten these ebay lifters? Are they the stock height? Are they rubbish? These pass through ebay every couple weeks, so there are several sets out there. Hopefully someone here got a set and can report to their quality. $40 is pretty miserly for a full set.
