Back seat fun ! 200 1989

Thought that would get your attention. I've owned this 240 for 2 &1/2 years and on many occasions I have tried to remove the rear seat bottom. I have pushed and struggled in many odd positions until I'm totally wasted and still can't budge it. This past weekend I removed the front seats to give me more room and layed down & pushed as hard as I could with my feet on the seat bottom where it meets the floor. To my neighbors I must have looked like I was giving birth in the car complete with sound effects too. I still can't get the damn thing unhooked. All I want to do is run a few speaker wires!

I've taken many back seats out of American cars (and spent some quality time in some too) Please tell me if the procedure is the same or is there some kind of Sweedish Trick to these. If I ever do get it out I hope there's a pile of coin under there to make it all worth while.
Thanks,
Mike
