144 driveshaft into a 64 Amazon... 120-130 1964

Hello...
I have a 64 122 now, but it's got a saturn engine and a lancer GSR diff. (disc brakes!!!) The thing is that it's got the original drive shaft now, and the spline by the center bearing has got alot of play. (When I grab it, I get almost 2mm of play there.) And that makes the car vibrate quite a bit at higher speeds...
Since I have a 74 drive-shaft here...and I have no access to a amazon one, I'll have to fabricate something.
Has anyone tried fitting the 144 driveshaft with the center carry bearing before... how hard will it be? Or else I might buy a japanese shaft of similar lenght...and have it modified... (since I have to cut the 144 shaft anyway.)
Cheers.
