242GT??
Check out the grille and hood... I thought all of the 242GT years had the round headlights and the built in fog lights. The hood should be "flat" also.
Were there any 242GT's ever made that had the square headlights and different hoods? Looks fishy to me.
A few questions for others who have the 1980 242GT, a comparison to mine:
* Is there a coin tray just above the heater/ventilation console? Mine doesn't have one (although I miss it from my 1990 244DL!)
* My Virgo rims are a mixed batch, some made in Norway, some in Germany. Which country is original? I see subtle differences in them and like the Germany ones better (for whatever reasons).
* Do you still have the original stripes? Mine are gone, does anyone know where to buy the original stripes?
* Since there were only 2000/year imported to the U.S., can anyone tell me the chassis/engine number range (or any method of knowing if a "GT" really is a GT?)
Thanks for your replies.

(Sorry if the HTML is all screwed up in this message, I'm just starting)
