Rear Axle oil removal 120-130

Hi,

I would like to change the oil in the rear axle but can only find one plug which I assume is the filler plug (its at the 4 o'clock position mid way between the middle and edge on the plate at the rear of the axle). The axle seems to be filled with oil to near enough the level of this plug. The only way that I can see to remove the oil is to remove the plate that the plug is on (this plate covers the circumference of the rear of the axle). Is this the way to do it or am I missing something? The axle is a Spicer axle (I think) as it has the bolts to the rear whereas the ENV axle seems to have the bolts to the front (where the propshaft meets it).

Any help is much appreciated,

Aidan
