Rear End Oil Leak and Suspension Questions

Replaced rear shocks today with new Sachs from fcpfroton. Noticed the left/right rear height difference is 1 inch. Is this enough to warrant new springs. 1993 940 NA with 125K.

Also noticed some oily grim on bottom of fuel tank and surrounding areas. Looks like it might be from front end of differential where the drive shaft attaches. Is there a seal here? Difficulty and urgency to repair?

Thanks, Tom
