Conversion of pill-shaped to rectangular coolant expansion tank... 900 1991

'91 945T:

Is it possible to convert to a recatngular coolant reservoir so I can add a coolant level sensor? I've read the 700-900 FAQs on the cooling system, but it doesn't outline the upgrade. I want to do this also because I have difficulty seeing the level of the coolant and the rectangular ones (like on my old '92 240) were more translucent than opaque.

Also, I have a leak between the turbo (Mits.) and the exhaust manifold. I notice in the vehicles repair history that the P.O. had the manifold gaskets changed less than a year ago. Would this mean that the dealer did a poor job of mounting the turbo? How long is this type of work generally warrantied for? I couldn't find a straight answer in the FAQ about how the Mits. turbo mounts -- one post about an angle-tightened locking cap, another about a hinge and a single or two bolts... hmmm... Help?

Thanks,
Chris
