I like it a lot, but it's not an easy thing to live with.

It took me over two years to get it to the point where it would drive, mostly because that's how fast I could afford to build it. 8-9 months later, I'm still spending money on it. Cameron and I have about the same amount of $$$ in my MPPE and his supercharger motor, and it's way more than either of us thought. You can build a motor that goes much better than stock and have lots of fun for a third as much.

At the end we have motors that have way more power than we can sensibly or legally use, and mine is a bear to drive in traffic, at least until I spend a bunch more $$$ getting the Webers cleaned up. You don't just casually run down to the store with this -- it demands your full attention, and you come back feeling like you survived some sort of bombing mission. I wouldn't want this to be my only car.

PIR... far as I know, Cam and Marcus (way fast 1800E with D-jet) will be at the drags Friday the 12th. I want to go watch, but the MPPE is already 200 miles away at our new house.
