Strut Mounts 700

I just replaced all shocks+struts on my father's 91 740 with all new strut mounts (ScanTech), balljoints and control arm stay bushings. The strut mounts I got from FCPGroton looked to be the same quality as the orignal ones. I have seen some posts mentioned that other places sell the same mounts as the ones from FCPGroton but with much higher prices.

The orignal mounts on my father's car still looked OK but the bearings definitely needed to be replaced. It's highly recommended to replace the balljoints and control arm stay bushings (the bushings I got needed to be cut to fit) if you are going to do the front struts. The parts are relatively cheap if you get them from FCPGroton.com. Yes, FCPGroton.com rocks!
