Dash vents stop blowing... 900

Just thought I'd like to pass along an easy fix for the old "dash vents stop blowing when I keep my foot in the turbo" ailment.I had this problem for a couple of years and was living with it because (A) It wasn't too bad and (B)I didn't want to go through that mess of replacing the vacuum servo. But I recently noticed that my hot water valve was never closing.Hmmm...Had to go into the dash for this stuff plus cassette deck not playing (bad belt) and shifter (and other lights) out.I found the hard plastic vacuum line for the hot water valve had chafed through under the intake manifold!Cut out bad section, spliced with vacuum hose-working great!Cools better in traffic too!Just have to get some of those weird bulbs with the plastic body for the ashtray/fuse area and defog switch.Hope this helps somebody! sredwine 94 944T 137K,98 V90 66K-still love it!
