no start - bellows full of oil 700 1989

Car died on the road, (rainy day), brought it home, checked all the usual things, (RPM sensor, Radio Suppression Relay, Fuel pump relay, both pumps working, ECU works in other volvo, etc, etc.) New plugs, cap, rotor. Getting spark, fuel getting to the rail, injectors firing, plugs smell of fuel. No error codes from OBD. Waiting for fuel filter, but in the meantine, found the bellows hose and connector to throttle body full of oil. It appears to be coming from the intake side of the bellows.

Anyone have any clues on how oil can come through the intake?

Thanks
