The glass has to come out in a 122. I imagine it is the same in yours.
The channel is a tight pinch fit over the glass and the rubber. I would
imagine some rubber lube would help. It probably takes about 50# push to
get it into the channel. Another way is to stick it into the channel with
silicone adhesive. I've done this with a vent window but not a regular one.
