Raising the Seat 140-160

My girlfriend and I just bought a 1972 142E. The car is a dream in every way except for one problem. See, my girlfriend is only 4'11 and when she drove the car home yesterday she had to sit on a pillow in order to see above the steering wheel. I know that in my 1800ES I can manually adjust the set by raising the bolts beneath the seat frame. Now, can I do something either similar or identical to raise the seat height a few inches? I'm sure someone out there has done something to raise the seat, I just wish i knew what that something was. Anyway thank all of you who respond, your help is greatly appreciated by me and Danielle.
