Ignition Switch Rebuilding 140-160

G'day All!

I'm currently in the process of rewiring my 144 and I've struck trouble with my igniton switch.

Firstly there is high resistance in both position 1 and 2 (5ohms). Is it possible to open and clean the switch or is it replacement only?

Secondly there is a terminal on the switch that doesn't appear on the wiring diagram. (i've got 2 terminal 30, 15, 50 and 75) there is another terminal which doesn't appear on my original wiring diagram. any clues to what it is?

Thanks!
