my 122s automatic runs hot when standing still but o.k. while traveling...help!! 120-130

even though always kept up on hoses good, radiator filled, I was told not to deal with flushing because might open up can of worms, etc. and if I put in new thermostat it might even run hotter.....just leave well enough alone. These 122's run hot...normal. I'm taking her on a 4 hour ride for the first time///what do you think?? thanks much....lynn at chmtnbliss@cs.com
