If you're positive the timing belt's OK, then you must next determine whether the problem is ignition or fuel.

It sounds as if the ignition's OK. (And if you have spark, then the t-belt's OK.)

Next test: Air Mass Meter (AMM). With the ignition OFF, unplug the AMM and try to start the engine. If it starts, idles, and allows you to drive slowly (light foot on the gas), then the AMM has probably failed.

Be sure to plug or unplug the AMM with the key OFF.

If it fails to start with the AMM unplugged, then it might be the fuel pressure regulator.

Pull a plug and examine it. Is it loaded with raw gas?
