b21 in a 140 140-160 1966

Well, I'm not sure I have anything to really add, but thought I'd post that I do politely disagree with Paul on this one. The porting is actually pretty darn good, the intake seems almost a bit smaller in area. I've been meaning to do a test of that: cc it and divide by centerline length. Regardless, Volvo claimed notable mid range torque gains over a b20, whether they were comparing apples to apples I'm not sure, could have been more compression and the A-OHC cam vs a pushrod C. You might indeed find they lack on the top end, in which case slap on a 405 or 531 head (yes, even on a b21, BTDT)
