engne temp sensor 700

If I warm my car up from idle, let's say for 15 mins...I go check sensor under Cylinder # 3 and it measures 340 ohms..I read the chart for it on brickboard and it seems normal...should it be lower if its not such a hot day...thanks...Jeffry...
