no instrument lights after removing & replacing instrument cluster 200 1991

while installing a new redio in my 91 240 it was nessesary to remove the instrument cluster to get at the back support holding the factory unit(high mount) after replacing the cluster, all instuments seem to function ok but I have no instrument lights when my headlights are turned on. Any suggestions what I may have hooked up wrong or left unhooked?
