Aftermarket Carpet Kits are the Pits 200

I ordered an aftermarket carpet kit for my 240, and after a day of sweating and cursing, I finally got the damn thing in.

A piuece of advice for anyone considering it. When you order the carpet, request one with no insulation on the backing. The insulation gets in the way and no 240s have it as original on the factory carpet. The reason I suggest this is that it is hard as hell to cut and you have to force some of the accessories to fit after its installed.

Also, be prepared to cut all the holes so don't throw away your old carpets. The new carpet comes in one piece so you have to line up the original two pieces to the estimated spots on the new carpet and cut the holes.

Hope this advice saves a few people from the cursing and time it took me to comp;lete this project..
