An O2 sensor can improve your mileage

In the spring i replaced my catalytic converter and O2 sensor. Over the past few months I have been able to confirm a 1-3 mpg improvement. My 745-16v would get about 25 around town, 27 on the highway. Now i get 27 around town, up to 29 on the highway. It was quite noticeable when i put a scope on the new sensor how much faster it switch from lean to rich.
