The volvo lives again!!! 200 1987

Thanks to all for the latest round of suggestions. I went outside today and took off the throttle linkage, as well as loosened the throttle switch. That's when i noticed that the throttle plate must have been open enough to move the linkage about a quarter of an inch. Adjusted that, and it started up and promptly stalled. I messed around with the idle set screw (the black knob on the TB) for a while, and now it idles at 750 just like it always did.

The only repair i did that wasn't necessary was the ECT, but replacing that showed me that my intake manifold gasket was on its way out. (Weird. . .it was starting to seperate on both the 1st and 4th cylinders. I'll try to post a picture) And now i have a spare ECT. Hey, it's a positive. . Oh, and i managed to justify buying a new torque wrench. Nothing wrong with new tools!
