Vacuum Retard? 140-160

The vacuum retard is designed to operate at idle, and at very small throttle openings while cruising. It lowers peak combustion temperatures and reduces Nox.
Disconnect it. Plug the port at the manifold. Use stock timing specs (10 BTDC) as a start and advance in 1 or 2 degree increments while using the gas you use typically. This will immediately improve idle quality, and fuel mileage.
I have been doing this mod on customer 140's since the late 1970's.
