Replacing front and back shock absorber plus ??? 900 1983

My 940 Turbo 940 is 10 years old. Last change front absorber 3 years ago (about 40,000 miles already). Recently, While changing tires, the workshop pointed leak on the left side front absorber. This is exactly the same reason I did the change 3 years ago. Question. Why always the front left leak. I do noticed that sound from bumps and steerling turning. I intend to keep this car for the next 10 years at least as it is running perfectly to my satisfaction. Hence, need advice as to how to fix it eg power steerling, absorbers, bush ???. I figure since I am prepared to keep the car why not get it done once and for all by the workshop changing all necessary wear and tear parts. This way I could negotiate a cheaper price, I believe. Advice Advice please. For information, engine in tip top condition.
