Speed dependent high pitched sound 700

Speed dependent high pitched sound.

I just bought a beautiful 740 GLE 1990. It’s in perfect condition and has only 96.000 miles.
I had the timing belt replaced and it got a serious tune-up (everything was checked, repaired and ok).
It drives terrific BUT ... it makes a speed dependent (faint) high pitched sound. My mechanics checked everything but could not find a cause and told me it has to do with the 16 valve engine. Does anyone recognize this?
Please advice me, it’s still under warranty.
Thanks a lot.
