simple machine 700

Dropped in a new B230FT in my 1987 745T in June. Passed 285,000 miles yesterday.
Why is it that people that don't own Volvo's always are telling you that you need a new car? Could it be they are on their 3rd or 4th car while your still driving your same car for 16 years. I love pissing people off by telling them "Why would I want to get a new car. My wagon is in great shape, it has no rust or dents, gets good gas mileage, always starts, has never left me stranded, cheap to own, and isn't depreciating more than $300 a year, and I know I can easily drive it to 500,000 miles. The look on their faces is always classic.
