death of my 1973-144 140-160

just wanted to say thanks to all who helped me get my 144 rolling, especially walrus3. sad to say last saturday while taking a trip to new orleans (about 50 miles)i was hit from behind, the young man had fallen asleep with the cruise control on. he was going about 80 miles per hour, and ran into the back of my car with a 95 cadillac.it is tough to see a two year project totaled out...i had felt so good about saving a little bit of history of a car that doesn"t have the biggest crowd of followers.........beanbag...
