This is the worst part about the new car and im not sure whats causing it 200 1984

new to me 1984 turbo wagon, every time i go to start it after it has been sitting undriven for more than an hour i have problems(i knew this when i got it). turn the key and it turns over and starts but stumbles and such, sometimes dies, i have to start it with my foot barely on the gas and when the motor engages floor it or it dies, even with my foot to the floor it barely runs, it will stumble a lot below 800rpm and then rev high and then go back to stumbling. i have to sit and give it gas until the idle steadies out and then it idles and runs great. i know revving a cold motor like this is very bad, but there is no other way to start the car, what could this be? i thought maybe bad or leaky injectors but the previous owner had the injectors replaced only a couple thousand miles ago, i thought maybe id run some fuel system cleaner through it but other than that i dont know, any ideas?
